Michelle
Prior to starting with Hero Industries, I managed a bank, recruited high level executives, helped a multi-location fitness boot camp stay organized and managed the freight flow for a well-known retail establishment.
In 2011, when I came aboard, I didn’t know how fulfilling playing with stuffed dogs and designing coins would be! It has been so exciting to have a hand in the expansion of Hero Industries.
To date, I have had dealings with a large majority of our clients in one way or another. I look forward to many more years with Hero Industries and seeing where our journey takes us!

Angie
Before coming to Hero Industries in 2016, I was a Pre-K Teacher for a private school and worked as an ESL teacher for the ASD, I also worked for a motorhome company in their HR Dept.
When I first started at Hero I had never heard of Challenge Coins or paid much attention to the different divisions of FBI, USBP or the difference between Police and Sheriff. It has been an amazing learning experience and through this learning I have met so many cool K9 Handlers, Police Officers, Sheriff Officers and my favorite the cutest, sorry toughest K9’s out there.
My job isn’t always the most exciting since I handle shipping, customer service and some quality control but I do love what I do because it changes from day to day and I am not tied to my desk or computer. I get to interact with our fantastic assemblers and clients with questions or concerns.
Just within the 3 years I have been with Hero I have seen so many changes and growth within our company. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for us. I’m lucky I get to work with some great people and amazing products. I look forward to seeing what you as our client come up with for us to create.

Laura
Hi, I’m Laura, the Sales and Design Manager at Hero Industries. Before joining the Hero team, I worked in hotel management and at a performing arts costuming company—both of which helped shape my creative side and love for working with people.
Along with my role here, I also judge Color Guard competitions and teach Zumba classes. I really enjoy using my artistic background in a new ways and helping bring our clients ideas into reality!
I have two sons, two cats and one mom that keep me company at home. When I am not working you can find me spending time with friends and family, singing, searching for the best street tacos, thinking about Christmas or re-watching Harry Potter for the millionth time.

Cari
Hi, I’m Cari-Mom to 3 great kids, Grandma to 2 of the cutest puppies ever and married to my sweetheart for 26+ years. My favorite thing to do is to be with my family. I love to go to breweries and concerts! I was a stay-at-home mom when my kids were little, until I got a little stir crazy and tried a few different part time jobs.
I sold tools from home, worked at Old Navy for 2 years, owned my own clothing boutique and just before starting at HERO, I worked as a personal assistant. I love to be creative which makes helping create Challenge Coins so fun. I love the atmosphere, working environment and people here at HERO!

Jamie
Hi, my name is Jamie. I am married with two daughters and the sweetest Aussie mountain doodle named Teddy. Outside of work I enjoy traveling with my family! We especially love to camp at the beach in Carpinteria!
Prior to joining Hero Industries I was a stay-at-home mom. Now that my kids are a little older, I have decided to go back to work. I love being a part of Hero Industries because I get to help customers design custom coins that bring their vision to life! I also love it when a K9 visits us at the office!

April
I recently joined Hero Industries in 2024 as a sales rep after I was referred by a friend/ former co-worker.
Prior to Hero, I worked as a retail sales manager and nanny. I enjoy working for a small business and knowing my job is impactful. My favorite part of this job is getting to meet so many service animals (and clients) that come from near and far to visit us.
In my downtime I enjoy spending time with family/ friends, baking, lifting weights and eating good food.

Christine
Hi! I’m Christine, the Lead of Marketing & Sales at Hero Industries. Since joining the team in 2018, I’ve found my perfect professional home! With over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing, I’ve held diverse roles, including Operations Manager for a media company and General Manager for a women’s gym.
I’m also a proud girl mom that’s attending Cal Poly San Louis Obispo. In my free time, I love traveling, spending time with friends and family, and doting on my pets—my biggest loves (besides my daughter and boyfriend) are my dogs and my new cat Milo.
You’ll often find me at law enforcement and K9 trade shows across the country. Don’t hesitate to stop by and say hello!

Arthur
Hello! I’m Arthur and I run the marketing department here at Hero Industries! I have an extensive background in marketing and promotion with strong understanding on ins and outs of social media, I also have a background in Graphic Design.
I grew up in Southern California and enjoy spending my free usually fishing the local lakes or jumping on a boat and heading to Catalina Island to do some fishing in the ocean.
I am extremely family oriented and consider myself a dog dad after raising 2 dogs within my 25 years of living.

Jenn
I’m proud to serve as a Production Facilitator at Hero Industries, working with police departments, hospitals, schools, and other organizations to bring meaningful projects to life. My team assembles custom plush toy dogs that represent the dedicated K9s serving their communities, and as a lifelong dog lover, I treasure the moments when I get to meet some of these amazing animals in person. I’m driven by the hustle and bustle of busy days, the satisfaction of making a difference, and the vision of helping this company grow.
Outside of work, my greatest joy comes from spending time with my family—whether we’re gathered for a home-cooked meal, exploring the outdoors, or finding new adventures together. Staying active, both physically and in my community, keeps me energized and inspired.

Carolina
I am an assembler at Hero Industries. I enjoy the atmosphere and my coworkers. The highlight of working here is when we meet our police and the service animals that come from different places.

Sonia
I’m Sonia, a retired banker with 25 years of experience helping individuals, families, and businesses reach their financial goals. When I retired, I wanted to take a completely different path — and that’s when I discovered Hero Industries. I was instantly drawn to the company’s mission, especially since my husband serves in law enforcement.
Outside of work, my proudest role is being a baseball mom. On my days off, you’ll almost always find me in the stands, cheering on our son as he pursues his passion for the game.

Joelle
After completing my bachelors degree in Health Science, I actually worked in financial services for a few years. I later got married and had two beautiful daughters, and became a lucky stay at home mom.
After several years as a homemaker, I was fortunate to then join Hero Industries - thanks to a great friend who was already there and brought me on board. I have been working for Hero Industries for a couple of years now and can truly say it’s the perfect job for me.
l am grateful for this opportunity to work with an amazing group of ladies, and I believe that all of us together make a great team. I really enjoy working for Hero Industries and feel privileged to be a part of this great company.

I also worked for a law firm and a legal document assistant company that gave me experience with customer service and office duties.
My family is everything so naturally on my spare time, I’m with them, whether it’s baseball, water polo, swim, or camping, I’m 100% there. We are a Dodger family so once baseball season rolls in, we’re glued to the tv.
I’m truly thankful to be working for Hero Industries and to be a part of an amazing team of co-workers. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me here and the experience I will gain!

Brody
Hi, I‘m Brody; I’ve been with Hero for a few months. From moving boxes to now receiving shipments and sending them across the country for all our amazing clients. Kerri
Hi! I’m a proud mom of six amazing kids. Before joining Hero Industries, I worked at SBCUSD and ran my own custom tumbler and craft business. Most of my free time is spent with my youngest, Bella (16), who keeps me on the go with high school sports and club soccer. When I do get a moment to myself, you’ll find me in my craft room.
I started at Hero as an assembler, and within a few months, I transitioned to the apparel and DTF print department. I’m excited to keep growing with the team!

Dale
Dale served in the law enforcement from 1994 to 2019, working his way up from an officer to the Chief of Police. He retired from law enforcement in 2019 after 25 years of service and transitioned to the sales and service industry. Dale has a master’s degree in Public Administration and is a proud graduate if the FBI National Academy, session 220.
Dale is married with four children and loves anything outdoors and anything competitive. Dale is very excited to be part of the Hero Industries Team where he can continue to work and support his many customers from the first responder industry.

Terri
Prior to joining Hero Industries, I worked in the aerospace industry in Manufacturing Engineering for Northrop Grumman and prior to that, I worked administratively in the advertising and computer data industries. I “retired” in 2000 from aerospace to become a “home engineer” taking on a more challenging and rewarding job of running my household and raising my son and daughter who are now adults living their own independent lives.
I joined Hero Industries in October 2017 as just something to do and earn a little extra fun money. Time has gone by very quickly and I’ve seen the company continue to grow and expand through the years. My job gives me the ability to work independently while self-managing my duties. It has turned into something I enjoy doing and gives me the satisfaction of being a part of a company that supports law enforcement throughout the country.
I look forward to continue to be a part of Hero’s potential growth and endless opportunities.

Claudine
Prior to joining Hero Industries I was a stay at home mom for 22 years. I have two sons, my oldest is currently in the Army with the ambition of becoming a firefighter. My youngest son is currently in high school and plays water polo. I’ve been married to my husband for 28 years who is retired from law enforcement.
I enjoy crafting, camping with my family and searching for the best taco shop my husband and I can find.
I was fortunate to join Hero Industries in October of 2023. I am thankful to be part of this amazing company and to work with such wonderful people.
